Attention all Masons
On September 9th, 2017, Oberlin Lodge #380 will be hosting the annual Lorain County Blue Lodge Association Outdoor Raising. Oberlin Lodge is the only one in the district with an outdoor area where the 2nd Section of the Master Mason Degree can be performed! Come on out for this once-a-year event and witness the outdoor raising of a new Master Mason! As you all know, it takes all of the Officers of the Lodge and many others to put on a Master Mason Degree, so we need volunteers for speaking parts, non-speaking parts, and members of the Fellowcraft team. If you’d like to volunteer for a part or if you have any questions about this event, contact WB Jim Cain at 440-864-3705 or WB Patrick Spears at 440-522-8041. We’d greatly appreciate any volunteers for parts!
Donuts and coffee will be provided in the morning, as well a lunch in the afternoon after the Degree; both for a voluntary donation. Dress for this event is business casual, but be mindful of the weather when choosing your footwear for the 2nd Section; last year it was quite muddy out there! Registration will open at 9:00 AM and the gavel drops for the 1st Section at 9:45 AM sharp! The address for Oberlin Lodge is 12354 Leavitt Road, Oberlin, OH 44074.
I hope to see lots of brethren at Oberlin Lodge that morning, so be there and be square!
